Breast bags against breast cancer

Starting today, and continuing through the 28th, you can help support the fight against breast cancer by buying a Bracher Emden Breast Bag. Henri Bendel, in partnership with Bracher Emden and benefitting the Young Survival Coalition is holding It-Bags Against Breast Cancer, an online auction of a dozen of the duo's Breast Bags designed by an assortment of celebrities.

Pictured below is the bag designed by Mariska Hargitay. I didn't pick it based on anything other than the fact that I think she rocks.

Other celebrities taking part (click links for each bag) are Cindy Crawford, Eva Longoria, Kellis, Kelly Ripa, Petra Nemcova, Kelly Osbourne, Eve, Mandy Moore, Sophia Bush, Vanessa Williams, and Rebecca Budig.

Each bag is signed by the celebrity designer inside, and includes a dust bag signed by David Bracher and Richard Emden.
The bags, which are handmade from all sorts of treated leathers, exotic skins, and Swarovski crystals, are like works of art and retail for up to $1600. I know I got many letters asking about their bags a while back when Beyonce was photographed with several different styles.
The bidding on each starts at $99, and I predict the prices will be going up since the brand is hot and the cause is truly worthy.

Great great for a fundraiser! I only like the one designed by Mariska Hargitay (who does certainly rock), the others are just a little too out there for my taste.
