Bag that clutch
In keeping with the accidental theme of the week..."Clutches: love them, love them not, love them..." here is yet another clutch like bag, that still lets you have full use of both your hands.
From Olivia Harris, this little handbag might be accused of having an identity crisis.
It's long across and short, like a clutch, but it has handles too, and it's also got a shoulder strap, what the heck is it? In short, it's a great answer for anyone who loves the current look, but has had limited success juggling a coffee in one hand, a cell phone in the other, and a bag wedged in their armpit...slowly sliding down....
The actual bag itself, is not particularly fresh looking. It could be any one of a number of designers or manufacturers who favor the multi pocket, turn lock look, from Coach to Marc by Marc Jacobs and so many others. What is fresh is the chameleon quality, not often seen on such a small scale.
The shoulder strap, which can be seen in action here is shown worn cross body. To me, it looks like it needs another couple of inches to really be a cross body, but it is a perfect length for regular shoulder toting (the strap is adjustable, it may go longer). Tuck the shoulder strap inside the bag, and use the top handles for variety. Because the bag is small it can be slung over your wrist or forearm without worrying about a sprain. It is a little wider than most clutches, adding a bit more space inside, where there are the usual assortment of zipper and slip pockets. The top closes with a magnetic snap. The bag also has a signature hang tag, and it gives me pause because because the bag runs the risk of getting weighty with all the brass.
You can check it out for yourself. The Olivia Harris Small Shoulder bag is available from Active Endeavors and rings in at a pretty decent $375.

Clutches are a geat day to night item especially the new nylon hot pink ones by Stella! xoxo MIMI
It doesn't really catch my eye. But I like the use of gold and black for fall. The price is good though- If you're into a small multi functional bag =)
