The most wonderful time of the year...

After making your list, and checking it twice, it's the time of year every savvy shopper waits for with bated breath...SALE TIME!
While Bergdorfs does not have anything that was considered an IT bag early on, there are some lovely styles that can take you straight into Spring, Summer, and back to Fall.

From Christian Louboutin, a bag that seems more suited to warm weather altogether...

Shimmery gold fabric, with tan leather trim, and a "necklace" of matching leather discs, this hobo looks better suited for St Barts than 5th Avenue in Winter. I think it looks best suited for my closet..especially since it's original price of $950 has been reduced to a fabulous looking $428 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Also with an all season feel, from Valentino, this shoulder bag looks as good with a fur (faux if you prefer) as a strappy sundress.

The nude color is Spring/Summer ready, and makes for a bag that can be a chameleon...dressed down with jeans, up with a suit...the bow on the strap gives a feminine touch, perfect with the frilly florals that are arriving in stores now. It isn't exactly inexpensive, at $890, but considering it was $1590...that makes the Bow Bag from Valentino worth considering.

At the opposite end of the price spectrum, a bag featured on In My Bag earlier in the year from MARC by Marc Jacobs

I liked it because of the lines, which were evocative of the YSL Tribute, but it also has that heavier vintage Coach look which gives it a classic American vibe. Bergdorf has it in black, but a brighter red is perfect for chasing away Winter doldrums. At $193, it's not terrible crazy to consider buying 2 of the Teri Turnlock Shoulder Bag..it's still less than the $428 it was originally.

Last, but not least, what sale wrap up would be complete without the bag shape of the season, the clutch? Here is a seasonless classic from Michael Kors.

Yes, the black may seem heavy, but who doesn't wear black year round these days? A clutch always seems lighter, more of a warm weather item anyway...strapless dress, strapless bag...see what I mean? The ID bracelet trim makes this tough-chic, perfect for roughing up an overly girly-girl look. Originally $350, the ID Chain Leather Clutch is now just $158.

Take a look at other styles on sale now at Bergdorf Goodman. But be quick, because since I made this list, at least one of the styles is now unavailable...it's true, some things are too good to last.
